Once upon a time, many years ago
Little Tommy was brought into this earth

Well Tommy grew up fast and he got himself a girl
And his whole world changed when he and Jen first kissed
It was after school one day by the oak tree where they’d play

Well a few years down the road, he asked Jenny for her hand

Well Tom and his new bride soon had a child of their own
And he remembers holding his newborn that first day
Saying “Son you are so sweet, ah you’ve made my life complete
And I wouldn’t want this any other way.”

And ol’ Tom’s eyes they barely let him see
